ltinerary

Harbin — Yabuli — Harbin

After breakfast, drive to Yabuli Ski Resort, the largest international ski resort in Asia. Along the way, enjoy the magnificent northern scenery of thousands of miles of ice peaks and vast snowy landscapes, while listening to the guide’s introduction to Yabuli’s general information.

Yabuli Ski Resort is a national AAAA-level scenic area, located 20 km southeast of Yabuli Town in Shangzhi City, about 197 km from Harbin. It consists of three main peaks of the Zhangguangcai Mountain Range of the Changbai Mountains: the main peak Dagoukuishan (1,374.8 m above sea level), Ergoukuishan (1,100 m), and Sangoukuishan (1,000 m). The area is covered with endless forests and mountain peaks, with abundant snowfall — the snow depth can exceed one meter, and the annual snow period lasts about 150 days. Skiing is available from November to late March every year.

Take part in the Horse-drawn Sled + Snow Tube experience and enter the primitive forest, where you can admire the birch woods and feel the heroic spirit of Yang Zirong in the snowy wilderness. Ride the traditional northeastern horse-drawn carriage, hum local folk songs, and experience the oldest means of transportation in Northeast China, galloping through the snowfields.

Feel the distinct bandit culture of Northeast China — exchange “black slang” with the bandits, visit the Assembly Hall to attend a bandit meeting, experience the wedding room, and explore the bandit’s den to see if “being a bandit means no worries — the wife and kids stay warm at home.” Enjoy the fun interactive “bride-snatching” performance.

Then, visit the World’s No. 1 Alpine Slide, located on Sangoukuishan at an altitude of 999.8 meters. The slide was built with advanced equipment imported from Germany, using stainless steel tracks and hard plastic roofing. Its design resembles a giant dragon winding down the mountain, with a total length of 2,680 meters, a vertical drop of 570 meters, and 48 turns. It has been listed in the Guinness World Records as one of the largest slides in the world.

Enjoy three hours of beginner skiing (including ski boots, skis, and poles; complimentary ski goggles and ski suit), and personally experience the thrilling and exciting skiing activity.

After finishing the tour, drive back to Harbin.
